Page to Fame

Submitted

I have submitted the prologue and first paragraph of Gretchen’s chapter to http://www.webook.com’s Page to Fame. If enough people want to see it “elevated”, it will pass to the next round where I will submit the first chapter. I’m not saying you should go and join webook so you can rate me… but I wouldn’t hate you if you did. So far, two people from the website have read and rated it- one gave it a 3 out of 5- so-so. The other, a 4/5- pretty good. I’m feeling jazzed.

As my friend Michelle just said- fiction is hard. It’s more difficult than I recognized to make up a whole life, a whole existance for a family. And to make it worth reading. But I feel like I’m going to do well on this one- I didn’t give it a title first.

I’ll post more soon. C’mon back, y’all.

I am a wife, a mother, an amateur photographer, a writer, and a teacher. I am so lucky to be able to travel the world with my husband, two particularly adorable daughters, and two lovable fur-babies. I never expected to get the travel bug, but I'm so very glad that I did. These are the records of my adventures and my every day lives as I spend my days with the people I love.

  1. Fiction is not all that hard if you think about it. First you create the characters based on their live experiences.

Like, birth to present. Their actions will come out of who they are.

You're off to a great start. I need to send you some stuff soon when I am stone cold sober.

    Love you!!!
