What I’m Working With…

There is absolutely no point to this post except to put things in perspective.

I teach a set of twins in the middle school.

Who fly to London.

Once a month.

For two days.

To go to the orthodontist.

A first class ticket- because I bet they’re not flying coach- is $6000.  They both go each time and, obviously, some adult travels with them.  That’s $18,000 a month to go to the orthodontist.

I’m just putting that out there.  Do with it what you will.

I am a wife, a mother, an amateur photographer, a writer, and a teacher. I am so lucky to be able to travel the world with my husband, two particularly adorable daughters, and two lovable fur-babies. I never expected to get the travel bug, but I'm so very glad that I did. These are the records of my adventures and my every day lives as I spend my days with the people I love.

  2. Hmmm…

Not quite in the same money league, but I had one parent who would send me notes to school on the back of Hermes and Jimmy Choo receipts.

But I did once have one of the Sabah princesses in my room crying and groveling because I had failed her kid. Schadenfreude. Yes, I am a bad person.
